Greatest Political Interview Ever

Laura Ingraham’s interview with South Carolina Democrat Primary Winner Alvin Greene. Most riveting political interview with a Democrat. Ever. Seriously.

Not Good Enough, Not Smart Enough, and Nobody Really Likes Him.

That’s right. Al Franken, Ladies and Gentlemen.

Listening to Al Franken talk about constitutional law is a lot like listening to Stuart Smalley talk about self-confidence. Words keep coming out of his mouth, but it’s painfully apparent he has not a single damn clue what he’s talking about.

Is DC Returning to Form?

Is it tacky that the police reportedly said that their search for the killer will not end “until the fat lady sings”?

Leadership you can count on…to be completely clueless and, then, ask for your help.

Well…there’s a lot of utter cluelessness going around these days.

But former Lexington mayor Teresa Isaac takes the phrase “lack of vision” to new heights.

As of today, Isaac is asking her Facebook friends to tell her who she should publicly endorse in the Lexington mayoral race from which she just got eliminated.

That’s right.

She’s asking for you to help her make her selection as to who she will encourage you to vote for in the November run-off election between current Mayor Jim Newberry and current Vice-Mayor Jim Gray.

Don’t get me wrong. Asking for input from constituencies is a key component of any leadership decision-making process. But voting is an individual decision, and either a candidate has or has not given you–as an individual–the reasons you need to advocate on his or her behalf. If you truly are a leader of people, why in the world would you need help in evaluating your political rivals? Moreover, having debated these men, isn’t Teresa Isaac in a better position to evaluate their leadership than 5,000 random Facebook followers?

Besides creating a rip in the political space-time continuum with her request, Teresa Isaac has just proved: (A) why she’s completely unqualified to lead the city of Lexington; (B) why her endorsement should, and ultimately will, be worth nothing to its recipient; and (C) that political pandering isn’t just for winners.
